High School

Welcome Letter

Welcome to High School!

This is a space where 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students have the opportunity to continue their educational journey alongside their classmates and teachers who are well-prepared, caring, and passionate about their subjects. We value community, honesty, and respect. High School students are expected to be responsible for their own school work as well as their actions inside and outside of the classroom as we believe these are essential principles that will help form them into productive citizens of the world and God’s kingdom. Our teachers model these principles and encourage students to shine in these areas in addition to academics and extracurricular activities that are offered at this level.

God Bless,

Mrs. Dávila

High School Principal

Overview

High School offers a number of “core” classes that are taught in the English language, including Science, Math, Language Arts, Bible, and Computer as well as a rigorous curriculum in Spanish. Students’ artistic abilities and talents are also grown through the selection of music, drama, and art classes. We start College prep and orientation with students in 10th grade and accompany them through their journey of choosing the college or university that is right for them. Students are encouraged to sign up for college visits that are provided both on and off campus, and financial aid counseling for college is available for parents of high school students

Extracurricular Activities in High School

in High School there is a club for students of all interests including Chess, Robotics, Operation Smile, Art, Grulac, Model UN, Knowledge Bowl, and more! Students also have the opportunity to represent their classmates through the Student Council and National Honor Society. High schoolers are encouraged to serve in different ways throughout the year with Service Days, volunteer and donation opportunities, and community service through TES (Trabajo Educativo Social) during their Senior year. Athletes also have their choice of trying out for soccer, basketball, volleyball, Taekwondo, and cheerleading during their high school years.
